Texture

There is still a lot of texture in the garden and from nature in winter. (top to bottom)
*Parchment coloured papery hydrangea blooms, an echinaca seedhead partially eaten by the goldfinches.
*A tightly curled Queen Anne's lace seedhead, frozen leaves on the ground and a really cool seedhead with little spikes.  Anyone know what this is?
*Milk pod shells, the seeds having floated on the wind in autumn and an ornamental grass bent over after  a light snowfall.
I'm linking with Mary at Little Red House for Mosaic Monday.

These are beautiful photos Judith. There truly is beauty in the garden before the snows cover it all for the winter. Have a blessed week. Pamela

I love the Queen Anne's seed pod. I've tried for years to get them growing in my garden and finally I have plenty for bringing into the house and to leave in my garden.
Thanks for sharing,
Nancy

Your mosaic is both beautiful and inspiring. it's a reminder to see with new eyes. Sometimes there is beauty all around that normally isn't noticed.

The Milk Weed pod looks like a crystal jewel case - for a string of pearls, maybe?
