Some days start out sunny... you go for a little dip in the pool and then you get busted and kicked out!
Or, you pack a nice picnic lunch, load the family on the boat, go for a ride and end up beached and the talk of the town!

Funny you use the word "busted" for what your little (not so little) friend did to you .... my dad used to call each one of those "Buster."
