Jack Frost
"Someone painted pictures on my
windowpane last night...
Willow trees with trailing boughs
And flowers, frosty white,
And lovely crystal butterflies;
But when the morning sun
Touched them with its golden beams,
They vanished one by one."
~Helen Bayley Davis~
Jack Frost paints interesting designs on the glass panels of our deck railing but once the sun comes over the trees, they melt away.
I turned my mosaic on end so I could use a larger size; and yes, I've been playing with the snow flakes from PicMonkey.
I'm linking with Mosaic Monday.

I hear Jack Frost will be around tonight as it is going to get cold. Valerie
The weather man is saying things like "it's going to get colder" oh I love it just the way it is today, nice and comfortable, not too warm and not too cold. Jack Frost did leave you a pretty picture!
Beautiful captures! We finally had our first snow of the season as well.
PicMonkey is way too much fun! The flakes look so cute embellishing your snow scenes.
Wonderful Judith, Picmonkey has some fabulous themed textures and overlays. Have an enjoyable week:)
I used to love waking up to Jack Frost designs on my bedroom window when I was a girl growing up in England. These days in Australia,no Jack Frost just heat. xx PS I also love playing with picmonkey. I put frost all around the pic of my little collection of silver trees on my post.
I love them! They are so pretty. Have a lovely week.

Looks nice, Judith. I remember if we had frost or snow over night in the morning my mom would say, "It looks like Jack Frost has been here."
It has snowed about 15 inches in MN today! WOWZER!!!! We were out skiing today and it was completely beautiful...until the wind picked up - HAAAA
I am loving the winter effects on picmonkey - I made my own present labels this year. FUN
Judith,
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I love the designs Jack Frost makes on my window. So pretty, till they melt. He has not been around much so far, but there is plenty of time.

Judith: So beautiful and I love the Jack Frost poem. We've had a small visit from Mr. Frost but not as beautifully arranged as yours..Happy Monday..Judy
Lovely images, I also like to play with Picmonkey! I would not mind if the snow and ice just pass us by. Wishing you a wonderful week ahead.

We had snow yesterday too. I will miss the 55 degree weather.
I would be more excited about Target than Trader Joe's. Now so many things you could only buy at Trader Joes are in the regular stores but it is still fun for goodies.
I remember we had snow flowers on our windows when I was young but since we all have central heating I don´t see them any more.
fascinating pictures of the frost. Wintertime is definately here.
Beautiful photos and what wonderful thoughts. We have frost but it is more out in the yard where there are no trees. We have too many shrubs to get to the windows. I believe they need to come down so I can see the pictures it paints. Merry Christmas to you and yours.

It is always fascinating to look at the frost patterns on the windows. I was taking some photos on the iPhone last week while waiting for the front van windows to clear.
Ummm, passionfruit jam on a corn muffin sounds really yummy!
How pretty! Thanks for taking time to capture photos to share with us!
What lovely photos! I've had fun with adding snowflakes and even snow to my photos! Enjoy your week!
